I think it's the ultimate in hilarity when the bus driver on the commute into the city says, "New York City," to all the passengers. Who are taking NJ Transit. Who commute into the city every day. Who do NOT expect to hear "Boston." Who do not expect to hear that announcement - such as I. Where the hell else would we be?? On our commute into the city, early morning, on a local bus, heading THROUGH the Lincoln Tunnel after driving for 30 minutes along River Road in Edgewater, West New York, and part of Hoboken to reach the Lincoln Tunnel, all the while SEEING the skyline of Manhattan clearly across the river. "New York City." You're kidding.
