Bobbing heads
Jun. 13th, 2007 02:13 pmI can't really understand how people can get on the bus in the morning and go to sleep on their way to work. I suppose I am a morning person, something I've been denying for years. But really, once I'm up (unless I have a hangover and/or am EXTREMELY tired), I'm up. So, when I get on the bus and take a seat or have to stand instead, it's funny to see heads bobbing all over the bus. Case and point: This morning sitting in the seat next to me was a woman who for the life of her could not keep her head up! I half expected her to bob her head to her right, making her head land squarely on my left should. It never fully happened, but because I was expecting it, I couldn't really close my eyes and I had to keep my eyes wide open the whole trip (sometimes I do close my eyes, but never actually fall asleep on the way into the city).
