MDW - Friday Night

I met the happy, sweaty couple at the end of my (shortened) workday at 3:30 PM on the corner of Broadway and Vesey. They had walked down from Christopher Street to Vesey after walking around Central Park for a while earlier in the day. My sister was sporting her new shoes and a t-shirt I had given her for her birthday earlier in April. Even though they got a little lost from the correct corner of the correct Broadway (not West, but just regular Broadway), it was great to see each other and get together to take the trip to our place for Italian tapas. We made up a neat-o dinner with appetizers and main courses that would have kept about 10 people happy for 3-4 hours. We got home at around 5:00 and ate and ate slowly till about 7:00 or so. Then we started watching a couple of things and kept talking and talking. Great evening. At the end of the evening, we played Catch Phrase (which I had just ordered from Amazon for $24!! and it came in before the weekend - very exciting - family fav) for about 2 hours. We took them back to their motel around 11:30.
