Memorial Day Weekend
May. 29th, 2007 03:03 pmHow exciting! My sister came up to NYC with her hubby for the Memorial Day weekend. It was a bit difficult for me to figure out things they hadn't seen before, since this was their 3rd trip up to see the city and me. Matt and I cooked them dinner, Matt planned out the weekend's restaurants (except Monday), and we figured out some things they hadn't seen before. Sent off the list of things and didn't get a response about what they wanted to see. Here was the list:
- Ellis Island
- Staten Island Ferry
- Battery Park
- Statue of Liberty
- Suggested either the MET, MoMa, Natural History Museum, or the Guggenheim for one of the rainy days, but thankfully it never rained!
- Suggested doing a "NYC Park Tour"
- Walking through Little Italy (Manhattan, not the Bronx) and Chinatown
- And the NYC Public Library? That's an interesting place I've never been.
