"Heroes" is Dead to Me

wwcitizenI deleted Heroes last night from our Tivo and got rid of the season pass. I'm done with that show. Didn't even get to the point in Monday's show of the girl-on-girl kiss; who cares? At this point, for me, it's about the story. There have been SOOOOO many holes in the story and the heroes' powers this season from previous seasons. I'm so tired of stupid writers who are re-writing established elements of the heroes' powers just to fit their story lines or story arcs. Even the actors are tired of the stupidity - you can see it in their eyes and body when they deliver their lines.
When the people playing the parts are over the show, the viewers have to weigh in and cancel the show. It's so not worth our time. Every episode, Matt and I sit there and critique everything about the show.
I suppose for argument's sake, it would be good to watch to learn what NOT to do in writing a screen play, but I won't be writing a screen play. It might be good to establish a list of things NOT to do when writing fiction and/or especially science fiction fantasy, but we're already familiar with that.

Thing is, I had had high hopes for that show and even the originator of the show (Tim Kring) did, but chose not to return because of how they destroyed the show. It's a shame. Could have been so much more.
