YAY IOWA!!

States that are a little late, but working on it:

North Carolina (of all places!!) - and this article is from the town's university paper where I graduated from High School!

WAY behind States:
Maryland
Washington, DC

Just plain stupid and confused States:
Texas (same-sex divorce is legal, but not marriage??)
Oklahoma

Counterproductive State:
California

(Not advertising for the a-holes and it's not voluntary, but eHarmony is now allowing same-sex match-ups - even if it is under court order...)

On the bright side
At least in the US, we don't have similar issues facing the homosexual community as in South Africa.
