Raced to Londontowne

We raced to London Towne last night because of the demonstrations. We heard about them going to happen and got on a last minute (very CHEAP!!) plane to London. It's now 10:15 here and I wanted to post a couple of demonstration pictures. One of them have my middle name on the sign - very disturbing. They're not into Americans right now, so we're trying to keep a low profile.
Most of these are from the hotel down the street from Piccadilly Circus. We eventually (and quietly) escaped to do a little touring after we had our fill of the yelling and such. Off to get some fish and chips with malt vinegar on the Thames and head up to St. Paul's Cathedral.

You can kind of see where the mayhem took place and the end location where the crowds started dispersing. That main wide road down below is the place. We climbed St. Paul's - for the sightseeing - and noticed where we were. Very cool!
