CUCUMBER VODKA!! Drink it straight, it's amazing. Hard to find but TOTALLY worth it. Meant to mention this from San Francisco, but just now tanked on it and it's amazing stuff. Along with Passion Fruit from Smirnoff and Absolut Mango together... but that's a different story for a different post.
We had game night tonight for the first time in 4 weeks. It was wonderful to hang with our buddies Bob and Tom, and lose for the 20th week in a row on any given game (because we love them). Not for nothing, we walked in at 6:00 PM (Tom in tow), and I had crudite and apps on the talky table along with the dining room set for dinner by 6:30. Matt had dinner ready by 7:30 and we were playing games over martinis by 8:30 PM. Fabulous!
The AWESOME dinner was prepared by my one-and-only amazing husband, Chef Matthew, at home. We had cabbage, green beans, and beef tenderloin (and btw, we ate the WHOLE THING!!). Tom brought over cherry pie for dessert. Great evening, but time for bed - Betty's coming in tomorrow.
