My birthday

wwcitizenYesterday, Matt got up at 4:15 AM (!!!) and decorated the apt for about an hour, which surprised me (a little - cuz I sorta caught him in the act...) and was really cute. I opened birthday gifts till about 2:00 PM and then we took off to go to Anthos - a Greek restaurant on 52nd; REALLY good, but very expensive.
We went to see Young Frankenstein, but from being completely toasted from the martinis and wine, we both kept falling asleep off and on during the first half. I kept trying to stay awake - even tried chewing gum incessantly; Matt fell asleep, too, which made me feel less awful about my periodic outages. Still, it was a good show and we had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the headliners we thought were supposed to be in the show weren't; Matt spent a lot of money on the tickets - had great seats.
When we got home, we had a little birthday cake, which made us feel really gross. Got to bed kinda late last night and out of bed kinda late this morning/afternoon.
Off to play Underground 2 racing game on Xbox.
