I'm prolly gonna be moving out of the Trenton area soonishly. UGH! I haven't moved in 7 years. I repeat, 7 YEARS!! Whereas that may be a drop in the bucket for most folks, I used to move on a steady basis every 6-12 months until 7 years ago, since 1986. This means that my possessions, while still astronomically expansive, were mostly able to be carried in one car load or two. Now, I've got the equivalent of a 3-bedroom apt facing me. Of course, I can only think of the phrase "purge and divest yourself of unnecessary things; things tyranize a man."
Latest movies/DVDs/VHSs: Office Space (of course, I've already seen this one about 6 times at least, but I FINALLY bought it last week!!!), Levity (excellently lightly metaphysical and deep), American Splendor (delightfully macabre and morose, but honest and friggin' hilarious), Devil's Playground (religiously tumultuous, and intriguing - insights into the Amish community and rumpspringa - well worth a watch).
There needs to be some kind of 3D imaging of a person... cuz, I notice that people's pictures are not always a clear representation of the full person, you know? I met this awesome guy for the first time this past weekend. We had spent the equivalent of about 5 dates talking on the phone from Monday to Friday before the anticipated in-person date this past Saturday. Thing is, we both mentioned the fact that our photos did NOT do either of us justice after meeting in person. I realize that 2D images of people don't rightly convey the 3D and in-flesh person, but I wonder what could be done about that in the current status of technology... Anyway, I'll be enjoying my first Valentine's date in about 6 years this weekend; I'm really looking forward to being his valentine, too.
