A Quiet Commute

It's still amazing to me that you can be in a bus, on a boat, in a subway, or on a train for 30-45 minutes with many of the same people every day, and it's quieter than your office or even a library! I'm in a train right now with about 100 other people; I hear echoes of short, small exchanges, and nothing concretely a conversation.

By the way, do you like my new Daily Commuter icon? That is actually in the Lincoln Tunnel taken at night.
