And Spring Cleaning Begins
May. 5th, 2011 02:54 amWOW! Don't know what got into me today, but I was VERY productive. Around work things, I organized stuff throughout the day. Here was the biggest change; I reorganized my main closets - in particular the sweaters up top!

Yes, Matt helped me install the separators and cut the clear plastic place mats in half to put on the bottom so that the slats don't imprint the sweaters. That was his very clever idea. In fact, the whole thing was and he ordered the separators for us (he's not done his closet yet). The end result? I am donating 8 sweaters, 2 sweatshirts, and 2 t-shirts, a set of queen sheets, two stuffed bunnies, unused Easter gifts, two pillow cases, night lights, and a belt.
I also reorganized my bathroom cabinet and purged a LOT of stuff. Then threw in two loads of laundry, folded them and put them away. I reorganized and cleaned out a drawer case on my desk in my office and cleaned up my desk area (something I do once a week).
Before all this, I reorganized two of my desk drawers, reset my ballpoint pens, and packed away all of our Easter decorations. I have also begun reorganizing our pantry closet because we have TOO MUCH JUNK! The thing is, once all these little corners are more organized, I won't want to keep things we bring to donate from our storage units. Cannot wait to tackle other areas and get rid of those storage units! YAY!
