My bus seat's cold. Not wet just cold. At least I hope it's not wet!!

A friend told me there's a lot of traffic today leaving the city. People forget how to drive in the rain if they're without it for a week or more. Why is that? Is that a NY-centric phenomenon?

Rain drops

When I sat down and my seat was cold on my bus, I immediately thought it was wet because it's been raining cats and dogs and ferrets today!! I glanced up over my seat as well to see if there was water in the light casing sloshing back and forth with the motion of the bus. At that moment I saw a forlorn water droplet drip onto an unsuspecting passenger two seats up from me. That was a first for him, I suppose, because he looked back, over, and up surprised and then noticed the water starting to drip more frequently above him. Since then I've seen over 20 big drops hit other passengers, but (knock on wood) not on me. Yay!
