Slow ride on 159
Sep. 18th, 2007 01:25 pmBus drivers must have pretty boring lives or they cherish the amount of driving they do. Bus drivers are probably driven to introspection and get lost in their thoughts. I would find the drive pretty boring day in and day out and fairly rough having to deal with us lot of commuters.
This morning's driver was no different except that he was driving EXTREMELY slowly. It seemed like he was driving about 5 mph for some reason. There was no traffic in front of him, but people were passing us feverishly and some honking their horns in irritation.
For the last three days, each bus stops at one particular stop at the top of Gorge Road in Edgewater, NJ.

There has been a big fella standing at the stop and collecting the passenger count on our bus. That collection might be in direct response to feedback they received from an online survey for NJ Transit, which was online and available for all of about 3 weeks!! Guess they don't really want feedback, huh?
