Waited a while for a bus again. Seems this is the normal thing nowadays, although everybody and her mother is on vacation. It's on the one hand interesting to watch the crowds gathering for their respective bus, and on the other an anxious setting.

It's interesting to watch the crowd and how the lines undulate and morph. At the same time, the crowd makes the waiting anxious when it doesn't need to be that way and could prove to be a less stressful time.

The other day, for instance, I was waiting in a long, long line to my bus. The line, in fact, extended outside the normal line length because there was a disabled vehicle in the tunnel. As I was standing there, people were undeniably being funneled or funneling themselves into my waiting spot at which point they had to excuse themselves to get passed me. It was driving me crazy. Of the umteen 1000s of other people's waiting time, they had to interrupt my tranquil spot. I told a friend of mine that the Port Authority public was converging on me in one fell swoop because I was simply the most approachable out of the throng. He said I possess that "come hither" look. I don't think any person toward the end of an arduous week has a "come hither" look. I would have thought my look and demeanor said "go thither" rather.
