Found it!! Just in time!

I was looking EVERYWHERE for the advent calendar we bought in Germany - Rothenburg. I'm very excited that we found it. We started opening it today together, and then put it in our living room to open each day (before I leave to visit the family later this month). Our advent calendar has little teddy bears all over it and the windows are opening up to littler teddy bears doing different little things. Very cute.

Universe juxtaposition!!

A few minutes ago, Matthew and I were enjoying a little lunch and watching a Christmas episode of "Just Shoot Me" (David Spade). Toward the end of the show, David pulls the fire alarm on the show. In what I thought was the background of the show, I heard, "Please disregard the fire alarm and do not use the elevators."

It crossed my mind that that announcement was a little closer than the TV, so I paused the Tivo. The announcement of the fire alarm test IN OUR BUILDING was audible through our physical door. David Spade flipped the fire alarm on TV and the "Disregard The Fire Alarm" announcement was being blasted through our building. Made us both feel very weird indeed.
