My Matthew's not been feeling well for a couple of days... must be allergies. So, I made him dinner: boiled white potatoes, sauteed green squash, fried up mushrooms, steamed and buttered carrots and parsnips, and grilled up some Turkish koefte (spicy little beef patties). Then I served him "Bottom of the Pan" for dessert, which is his favorite (it's a delicious thick Turkish custard). He loved it and was completely shocked, which made me so happy. He takes such good care of me when I feel poopy and I'm so grateful to be able to return the love.

comments
